Pub poker leagues
Hundreds of UK pubs run free weekly poker nights as part of national leagues. Pubs change night to night, so we point you to the leagues' own venue finders rather than listing each pub.
The leagues
- Redtooth Poker says it runs in around 1,000 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales. Its venue finder searches by postcode, and its regional finals are held at casinos we list.
- The Nuts Poker League runs pub games on the same model.
What the law allows in a pub
Poker in a pub in Great Britain is limited by law. Pubs may not charge you to take part, stakes are capped at £5 per player per game and £100 per pub per day, and a single game's prize can't exceed £100. Players must be 18 or over. The details are in the Gambling Commission's code of practice.
We don't list private or home games, or games outside a licensed casino that charge an entry fee or take a rake.
